  • Can I get dental implants if I smoke?

    Many patients have been smokers. There is a slightly increased risk of complications with active smokers: this will be discussed with you during your consultation.

  • Can age be a problem?

    Health is far more of a factor than age. If you're healthy enough to have a tooth extracted, you're probably healthy enough to receive dental implants. Implant treatment may not be recommended for patients suffering from some chronic illnesses.   • Is the procedure suitable even if you've had problems with receding bone?

    Many patients seeking advice elsewhere have been told that they need bone grafting. Still, even if the bone has significantly receded, the "Fixed Teeth in a Day" procedure can usually be performed without grafting because of the innovative way the implants are placed. This is often not true for alternative implant techniques.

  • What do they feel like in your mouth?

    It is very much like your own teeth - they certainly don't rub or create sore spots, slip or fall out, as is familiar with dentures. One difference you will notice if you have had dentures is that you can fully taste and enjoy your food because the roof of your mouth is not covered. "Fixed Teeth in a Day" teeth don’t come out at night and don't need special cleaning. You can eat whatever you like without a problem. And, of course, you can smile naturally - knowing your teeth look and feel natural.

  • How long is it before I can use my new teeth?

    We recommend a softer diet for the first few weeks following the procedure - and you will have your new smile immediately! You will be eating, laughing, smiling, and enjoying life as if you just grew a brand new set of natural teeth. The treatment was excellent, and my new teeth feel very natural.   • How will I feel?

    The fixed teeth in a day procedure are carried out under sedation. Afterward, our patients typically report far less discomfort and a much quicker healing time than expected. Pain relievers are usually needed for two or three days; after that, patients are generally pain-free.
